Type: Part-Time (20-25 hrs/week), 6-month Contractor
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reports To: Social Media Manager
Are you obsessed with sports, culture, and the intersection of the two? Can you edit clips in your sleep, pull up viral soundbites before they blow up, and feel just as comfortable in front of the camera as you do behind Adobe or CapCut?
The GIST is looking for a part-time Video Creator – someone who’s a storyteller at heart, sharp editor, cultural curator, and natural on-camera talent. You’ll be the face and hands behind short-form videos that bring sports to life from The GIST’s unique voice and perspective – one that’s irreverent, witty, inclusive, and always GIST-y.
This is not your average social video role. We’re looking for someone who sees the world differently and isn’t afraid to take risks, test formats, and push boundaries. Someone who gets sports, lives on TikTok and Reels, and thrives on cultural conversation. Someone special. Is that you?
